Is the H1N1 shot that has thimerosal in it safe for babies?
Depends on who you ask and what studies you choose to believe.
My personal opinion is no.

That depends on what studies you believe as to how risky thimersol is
However there are no studies that show that seasonal flu vaccines are effective in children under 2.

my dd is 19 mos; she had the first half of the shot a month or so ago, and will get the next half at her next appt; i had the shot as well, and we both have had no probs from it….our next door neighbors son had it, and they share one of our driveways, so they went ahead and vaccinated us bc of that…i am a RN and have no probs with vaccs,,
