I love it when …
I love it when people who have no scientific training decide that they can judge the importance of someone else’s research. Fruit flies are used as a model organism in molecular biology and genetics. Studies done on them have yielded incalculable insights into the development of multi-cellular organisms, into neurobiology, ect. Unless you would like us to start using human beings as research subjects, sit down and shut up, Sarah Palin.

So much for her being an advocate for children with disabilities. And yet she doesn’t know that fruit-fly research is vital to medical research? , with friends like her, why worry about the Russians or the middle east?
