i’ve got asperger’s … i’ve got asperger’s syndrome too i feel the same way with heather of how the girls are making of her.i was made fun of the same way with other girls in school because of my awkward behavior.but the girls are jealous because heather is very special.heather would be a good role model for people with autism.

Well…the girls … Well…the girls were nice to Heather later on in the competition, especially Chantal. I also remember seeing parts where Bianca was giving Heather some good advice and Saleisha fussing over her when she fainted….and they were supposed to be the big bullies? It’s all about how the show’s edited.

announcing a … announcing a disability is a two-edged sword…it can hurt or help. Autism tends to make people withdraw and the fact that she wants to be in photographs, which is hard for people with that disability is amazing and it means that you can do anything. On the other hand it could make people feel sorry for you, but it was obvious that Heather didn’t want pity. She just wanted people to be aware of it and treat her like a human being. I think it was awesome of her to remove some of the stigma.
I don’t understand … I don’t understand why Tyra felt the need to annonce Heathers disability. Its almost like she sees her as less then the other girls. But thats just my opinion.
