    I don’t trust …
I don’t trust autism speaks because they all their “research” and “theories” of us autistics needing to be cured is a complete joke in my opinion! I may have their bank of america card but when that baby expires, i’m getting something different.

    I mean the status …
I mean the status rather than being forced to work or beaten but I have had people demanding repect in 2004. I do not mean to cause offence by my comment.

  4. DiabloDave363 says:

    choose ur words …
choose ur words wisely. we r not enslaved by the government and forced to work and beaten. i havent been treated like that at all. oh sure i used to be wierd but now u wouldnt even guess i had it. people are shocked and in disbelief for wen i tell them. i have not seen any written account or video proving we r treated that way. if there is, linkage please.

  5. philsaspiezone says:

    I mean an inferior …
I mean an inferior place in society as compared to neurotypical people, and exploited as well and if we do not stand for exploitation we are thought less of. Neurotypical people see us as troublemakers just like slavemasters did to their slaves in the 18th century.

  6. Aspies4Life says:

how r we treated as …
how r we treated as slaves?

  7. philsaspiezone says:

    the right of self …
the right of self defence for a start. We are definitely treated as slaves

  8. philsaspiezone says:

    I totally agree …
I totally agree with this. It is the savages called society that needs to be cured of their Autiphobia/Aspiphobia. Autistic culture needs to be embraced and the people who practice the culture us Aspies and Auties.

    wat rights dont we have?

  11. chunkey841 says:

    ASPIES DO NOT NEED …
ASPIES DO NOT NEED TO BE CURED, WE NEED TO BE ACCEPTED, AND INTEGRATED INTO SOCIETY.
ANYBODY WHO THINKS WE AREA DISEASE NEEDS TO BE SMACK AROUND A BIT
Einstein was autistic, edison was a textbook example, bill gates is autistic.
many “geniuses” have characteristics of AUTISM
w/o US, autistic people, you wouldnt have ipods, computers or even electricity.
if you think you are better than us, you arnt.

i am a successful, person and i am a PROUD ASPIE

AUTISM IS A WAY OF …
AUTISM IS A WAY OF LIFE, NOT A DISEASE, i have seen the way we are treated and we are not treated like human beings, with dignity and respect and the ability to start replationships or homes with the supervison which constantly interrupts. besides, we autistic people are the people who will bring the human race up in science and computers!

  15. chrisaira says:

    we shouldnt even …
we shouldnt even NEED to stand up for our freedom. even after the diagnosis we should have had the same rights as everyone else, but people sont let us. even the right to live is gone, I heard something about people wanting to abort autistic feteses, how can somebody do that to a person, whether autistic or neuro typical? that isnt even giving the special needs person a chance to live. and people should call it a tragedy which removes hope from life. FREEDOM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS PEOPLE!

  16. phloophie says:

    I’ve been trying to …
I’ve been trying to find some sort of autism rights group to join. I’m an aspie, and have been trying to explain me diagnosis as a part of me, but not the only part of me.
My school is totally inactive with finding an acceptance for different people, so I’m kinda trying to find some sort of light to shed on their closed minds.

My life may have had challenges, but overall, I love my life, it is a strange and exciting adventure and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
