I know it’s very important but please explain how it would affect the individual if they didn’t have a routine for months/ years. Could they cope? how would it affect them emotionally? What impact would it have on their ability to lead a normal life?
It’s extremely important -they have difficulty filtering important from unimportant and are very easily unsettled which can be traumatic for them, much moreso than so-called "normal" people change of routine can bring on bewilderment and panic.

Can some one explain this to me? History and every thing? Actually, Thimerosal has been quite controversial in the recent years. It is an ethyl-mercurial compound that is quite toxic. As an undergraduate I studied this compound along with a few others of the same class. I was looking at developmental toxicity of this compound in zebrafish. My research clearly showed that these classes of compounds induces oxidative stress in developing brains and nerve stems in zebrafish. Which means that thimerosal can be extremely harmful to infants and developing embryos.
People believe that exposing thimerosal at developmental stages can cause problems later in development. There is very weak evidence that thimerosal exposure during development can cause autism.
This is another reason why this drug is quite controversial.
The FDA in recent years has worked diligently to eliminate most of these preservatives from vaccinations however some still have traces of Thimerosal.
People have been getting these shots with Thimerosal for decades. And its saftey has been proven over and over to those of age.
However, I would use caution if you are a woman who is pregnant.
There are a very limited number of vaccinations that are preserative free or contain trace Thimerosal and I would go out of my way to ensure that my child gets little/no exposure to it.
